Donate on Twitch

Donations are the most direct way to support your favorite content creator on the platform. There are ways for fans to give money to streamers, but they don't result in all of the money going to the streamer. If you scroll down the channel page of a streamer, you can easily find their special donation pages. The banner area of someone's page contains links to donation websites. Clicking the Donate button on Ninja's channel will lead you to a website where you can donate and send a message. To tip a little bit of cash to a streamer, just follow the simple instructions on the page. Depending on how much you donate, you may be able to add special effects to your donation or have your message read out loud by a text-to-speech program. Make sure to be patient as it may take a moment for your donation to go through. Streamlabs alerts can get backed up because of the high volume of people who subscribe and donate.

How to Donate on Twitch Mobile

You can watch the channel of your choice. To subscribe, click the button at the top right of the video player. The channel needs to have reached a certain level of status. A pop-up box will show you the benefits of a tier one subscription. Click the button if you want to continue. To subscribe for tier 2 or tier 3, scroll down to the appropriate option. You will be directed to another page where you can pay with a credit card. Select a longer subscription time (3 or 6 months) if you want to use more methods. As soon as the payment is processed, your subscription will begin.

Most streamers will thank you. If you have an Amazon Prime account, you can link it to your Twitch account. You don't have to pay an extra fee to subscribe to one channel per month. If you can't afford to subscribe to the streamer, another fan may purchase one for you. Sub gifting is what it is called. If you interact with the chat and compliment the streamer on their content, you will get a gift subscription. If it doesn't happen, don't be sad. Find another way to help the streamer. If you already have a subscription, you can gift subs to other followers by clicking the "Gift a Sub" button. If the streamer doesn't set up a donation tab or you don't feel comfortable donating through a third-party site, you can give using twitch bits.

The in-built currency is called twitch bits. For a small fee, you can purchase them directly from the company. Some people like to add a bit or two between their words to make their comment stand out. Donating with bits is called cheering. Depending on the number of bits they have donated, people can be ranked on channels. Look for the bits icon in your chat box at the bottom right of the screen and select the cheermote you want to use with your donation. Pick the number of bits you want to cheer for, either by selecting one of the recommended amounts or by entering your own. When you are happy with your selections, hit send and you will see your cheer go through and the streamer will receive your bits. The first one is a grey triangle with a range of cheers from 1-99 bits. The next diamond is a purple one. The third range is 1,000-4,999 bits. The 5,000-9,999 bit range is shown by a blue hexagon icon, followed by a red star that covers cheers of 10,000 bits.
